Developmental Editing
I adore working with authors on their manuscripts. As a critical thinker with a sharp eye for detail, I love solving problems, from ensuring a fast-yet-balanced pace, tight plots/subplots without plot holes, landing those epic twists, and giving you the feedback you need to bring those characters to life. I can also help you smooth that prose, strengthen your voice, and help your writing shine.
My specialties are with fantasy, dystopian, paranormal, and apocalyptic fiction. I’ve worked with querying, agented, and self-published authors. I can also help with trade medical, psychology, or science books as I have a background in medical and academic publishing.
The most important part of my feedback is giving you the tools you need to take your manuscript to the next level. I provide example, references, ideas, and multiple ways to tackle issues, and I’m always open to further discussion to really help with those pain points. We’re a team, and I want you to succeed.
Book Reviews
Reviews posted on my blog and youtube channel are always free. I focus on positive reviews with developmental critique, often using the review as a chance to think critically and improve my own writing. I prefer supporting indie writers, whether that involves self-publishing or signed to a small press.
Author Interviews
I’m also looking to interview authors both in video format and as part of my blog. For the written interview, the form is here.
